Israel Adesanya joined ex-UFC great Demetrious Johnson in criticising Bradley Martyn.

'The Last Stylebender' hasn't fought since suffering his third career defeat to Sean Strickland in September 2023, and as yet to confirm his next move in the octagon.

However, he has taken time to discuss a mutual enemy in bodybuilder Martyn with former UFC flyweight champion Johnson, who has regularly offered to step in the cage.

And Adesanya revealed he did exactly that when the pair met at a party with Jake Paul after the YouTube star beat Nate Robinson in 2020.

He recalled in an interview on Johnson's YouTube channel: “I meet Jake Paul at the hotel, then he invites me to his house.

"Get there, crazy. This was during COVID times. He has a ring in the backyard. And, I got word through someone that, ‘oh, this guy is trying to get Izzy in the ring,’ and I said, ‘nah I’m just here to have fun.

"I'm doing none of that. And it was him. Some people aren’t even man enough to wash the jocks we fight in.

"They’re not even man enough, or worthy enough to step in the ring or in the cage with us, cause, you’re about that life.

"And when they ‘Oh, how would I fare? How would I?’ Stop.”

Martyn has already seen Adesanya's comments and issued a response on social media with a screenshot of a friendly DM he sent to Adesanya after their maiden meeting.

It was captioned: "Who said it? You mean this night? All I was doing was showing you love.

"Fighters sounding hurt. I guess we all just clout chasing now."

Martyn and Adesanya have no prior animosity, but now there is a clear feud brewing between the pair.

The huge weightlifter has caused beef with a variety of MMA fighters, challenging them to street fights suggesting he would win due to his size and strength.

He challenged 'Mouse' Johnson to a contest in the past, which DJ agreed to despite being half of the juggernaut's size.

Joe Rogan even insisted Johnson would be able to beat Martyn, given he has previously submitted fighters 100lbs heavier than him.

Martyn has also called out boxing champion Devin Haney, who was recently beaten by Ryan Garcia.
