Love Lies Bleeding is one of the most-talked-about movies of the year, and it's now available to watch at home in the US.
UK audiences still have to wait until next Friday (May 3) for Love Lies Bleeding to be released in cinemas. However, thanks to its earlier March release in US cinemas, it has now landed on digital platforms.
If you're in the US, you can buy or rent Love Lies Bleeding from Prime Video, iTunes and other digital retailers.
Given its delayed cinema release in the UK, the movie probably won't be able to watch at home until at least mid-June, assuming the usual 45-day exclusive cinema release for Lionsgate movies.
Directed by Rose Glass, Love Lies Bleeding sees reclusive gym manager Lou (Kristen Stewart) fall in love with ambitious bodybuilder Jackie (Katy O'Brian), setting the two on a path into violence that involves Lou's criminal family.
The movie debuted with a strong Rotten Tomatoes rating on its US cinema release in March, and still holds a 94% Fresh rating from 210 reviews ahead of its UK cinema release next month.
Love Lies Bleeding also stars Jena Malone as Lou's sister Beth, Dave Franco as Beth's abusive husband JJ and Ed Harris as Lou's estranged father Lou Sr.
Ahead of its release, Kristen Stewart praised the movie's sex scenes which she felt were going to "shock people".
"All you ever [usually] see is a dress coming up and a head going down under," she explained. "I think even hetero sex on film is so rote. You go, 'OK, I know what that looks like in movies, that's what we'll do,' because no one actually wants to reveal themselves."
Love Lies Bleeding is released in UK cinemas on May 3. It is available to rent or buy digitally in the US from Prime Video, iTunes and more.
