There's been a resurgence of many fashion and beauty trends that many millennials grew up with this year.

From Barbie-core makeup to side fringes, 2024 has been a trip down memory lane for those of us who grew up in the 90s and early 00s. Now Boots is cashing in on the nostalgia by bringing back one of its makeup brands - Natural Collection.

As reported by OK!, the Boots own beauty brand launched in 1988 and served us all with low-cost make-up bag essentials to give us the trendiest looks of the moment. Well before the likes of Charlotte Tilbury and Supergoop! entered the market, we were all spending our pocket money on this affordable brand.

Now, after largely disappearing from Boots stores, the brand is back with a fresh new packaging look. Even better, you can still restock your cosmetics bag for less, as the prices online start from as little as just 99p, with a maximum RRP of £5 for a Tinted Face Base.

It's also ideal for those who are eco-friendly, as the products have been made from at least 30 percent recycled materials. Meanwhile, the formulas are entirely vegan, cruelty-free and composed of at least 90 percent natural original ingredients.

This initial release sees 100 products launched onto Boots, with plans for further expansion into bath and body care in the pipeline.

The Natural Collection is priced between 99p to £5 - making it an affordable option for beauty buffs

Here is what you can expect from the Boots Natural Collection:

Skin Tint, £5 here.

Concealer, £4 here.

Designed to complement the Skin Tint, this concealer is available in a selection of 15 inclusive shades. It promises creamy, blendable coverage with a formula enriched with chamomile extract for a radiant finish.

This lightweight formula offers light to medium coverage, giving you a natural look.

Lengthening Mascara, £3 here.

This durable lengthening mascara is formulated with chamomile extract to make lashes appear longer. We also think it bears a resemblance to REFY, judging solely by the packaging.

Whether it was inspired by the influencer-favourite brand or not, we believe it looks far more luxurious than its £3 price tag suggests.

Lip Gloss, £3.50 here.

This feather-light lip gloss, infused with coconut and vegetable oil, leaves lips feeling hydrated and pampered. The lip-friendly formula is available in five flattering shades.

Alongside the revamped Natural Collection range, Boots has introduced 49 new beauty brands to its portfolio over the past year, including Milk Makeup, Bubble, REM, Kerastase and many more. There's plenty to watch out for!

Beauty deal of the week

One item that nearly every beauty buff will agree is an absolute essential for a flawless finish is a decent primer.

As we get older, it can be a challenge to find one that blurs the signs of ageing. Which is exactly why many shoppers are raving over the M Asam Magic Finish Perfect Me Primer, as its "silky" texture" is said to be "great for ageing skin".

With its universally flattering transparent mousse-formula, the makeup primer is suitable for everyone, regardless of skin tone or age. It uses blur technology to "conceal imperfections", while wrinkles and lines are said to be "filled in".

Also infused with skincare hero ingredient hyaluronic acid, the M Asam Primer "intensively hydrates" the skin. Meanwhile, it also provides the skin with a matte finish to "control shine", making it suitable for anyone who has oilier skin types.

Right now, Amazon has launched a limited time deal on this "lightweight" primer. Originally priced at £24.99 for a 30ml tub, it has since been reduced to just £18.47 - saving shoppers £6.52 off the RRP.

One five-star review read: "Never thought "filling wrinkles" was going to happen via make up which wasn't applied with a spatula. I find this product is enhancing to a skin that doesn't need to hide under something. Lighter than a coat of heavy makeup it enhances good skin with a natural easy to apply look and a rich creamy feel. Anticipate using especially when cooler weather means central heating begins drying out our skin."

Shoppers can purchase the M Asam Perfect Finish Magic Me Primer for £18.47, down from £24.99, on Amazon here.
