Alison Hammond has shared her "honour" after meeting her "twin" live on This Morning on Friday.

The popular presenter fronts ITV's flagship daytime show each Friday, alongside Dermot O'Leary. In the latest instalment Dermot, 50, told Alison to brace herself for what was to come next.

He said: "Are you ready for a double dose of the Hammond?” before revealing a new waxwork model of Alison, set to appear in Blackpool's Madame Tussauds.

The reveal came almost a year since the This Morning host was told the attraction wanted Alison to be its next star, and Alison said: “I’ve always wanted to have a twin!”

An excited Alison continued: "It’s an honour", before standing next to the "other Alison".

After the programme aired, the 49-year-old shared some photos on Instagram and said: "Twin where have you been!! Definitely a moment thanks so much for incredible honour @madamtussauds Blackpool and @thismorning for getting the other me on the show.
