Michelle Keegan has been a style icon since her breakout role as Tina McIntyre on Coronation Street way back when. Her style and acting chops have certainly evolved in the 10 years since leaving the show, and we can definitely see why her flawless outfit choices have taken the world by storm.

Whether the Fool Me Once actress is flaunting designer labels on the red carpet, doing press interviews or casually posting her latest pairings to her Instagram page, fans can't help but notice her impeccable eye for detail. While filming her latest project in Australia last month, Michelle posted a sneak peak of an unreleased outfit on social media from her latest collection with Very, and we've been patiently waiting to snap it up.

Michelle wrote: “Loving my summer crochet co-ord. Coming very soon.” Luckily for her fans, the gorgeous new pieces have just dropped on Very's website, as the Mirror reports. Michelle's Crochet Shirt comes in at £35 and the matching crochet shorts cost £28, making the set £63 and according to Very, shoppers are going wild for the effortless chic co-ord.

It's not hard to see why, as the set would look gorgeous on beach days in Ibiza, Santorini or anywhere further and in between. It comes as Michelle celebrates her 40th fashion collection with the online retailer, which landed this week. The new Very line is full of dreamy styles for warm temperatures like crochet, broderie and neutral tones, making it easy for us to build a summer capsule wardrobe.

Speaking of the summer edit, Michelle said: “I can’t believe it’s my 40th collection already – it’s amazing to look back on all my previous ranges, my style has evolved so much over the years. I used to try and include more statement pieces and brighter colours, whereas now I really love to create pieces that can form a capsule wardrobe to create a range of looks.

“I like to make sure I can always style a look for many different occasions and that the collections are always versatile – whether it be a work event, drinks at the pub, a fancy dinner or just running errands.”

She continued: “There are still a few similarities throughout my collections. I’ve always loved crochet, so this is an element I try to incorporate where I can – one of my favourites from my latest collection is the green crochet high-neck top, which I already know I’ll be getting a lot of wear out of this summer.”

Michelle's new collection features some of this season’s most popular trends - including monochrome, tailoring and maxi skirts. We love this Cream Knitted Maxi Dress (£55), the Green Knitted Waistcoat (£30) and Knitted Mini Skirt in Black/Multi (£35), all of which are perfect for when the weather heats up.
