Jeremy Clarkson's girlfriend Lisa Hogan has expressed her readiness to face jail time over a clash with the local council regarding their farm shop. The pair are set to return for the third season of Amazon Prime's hit reality show, Clarkson's Farm, where viewers will witness the potential closure of the Diddly Squat farm shop due to local council regulations.

Lisa, 48, who has been in a relationship with 64 year old Clarkson since 2017, is seen in the upcoming series which airs on May 3 being cautioned by a local council representative. She was warned they were only allowed to stock produce from within 16 miles of the farm.

Lisa, who manages the farm shop on the Chipping Norton farm in Oxfordshire, told OK!: "I was going to take one for the team literally... You pay so much in business rates, taxes, then you give it to them and they use it to fight to close you down."

She added: "It seems strange, the behaviour... They've done me a favour actually because I wouldn't have found half of my suppliers unless I really had to search for them within 16 miles. So I'm really grateful to them for that. But I just think [the council] overreacts a little bit sometimes."

In a lighthearted view of possibly facing jail time, she joked: "My neighbour said that she would bring me cigarettes and rose - I don't smoke but I would start! ... I wouldn't mind a bit of time out actually. It's been quite busy."

Jeremy and Kaleb Cooper return for a third series of Clarkson's Farm on Friday, May 3. A fourth season has also been confirmed.
