Mikel Arteta's Arsenal have a big chance to put the pressure on Manchester City this weekend, but rivals Tottenham stand in their way.

Arteta's side kept themselves a point clear of their rivals after the midweek Premier League fixtures. The Gunners' 5-0 win over Chelsea received a response from City in the form of a 4-0 victory away at Brighton.

Spurs held Arsenal to a draw in the first North London Derby of the season, and a repeat could be fatal to any hopes of the title ending up in North London. Three points for the visitors on Sunday would put the pressure on Manchester City, though, ahead of the reigning champions' meeting with Nottingham Forest.

In addition to all the derby build-up, there's been some movement on the transfer rumour front for Arsenal. Here are Mirror Football's latest lines from around the Emirates Stadium.

Zubimendi drops transfer hint

Arsenal-linked midfielder Martin Zubimendi has indicated he's unlikely to spend his entire career with Real Sociedad. The midfielder's comments have prompted speculation over a summer move, though the Gunners aren't the only ones to be linked.

"They are just rumours, I am happy at Real Sociedad, it is like my home," the 25-year-old told Marca when asked about transfer noise. "I cannot say that I will play my entire career at Real Sociedad, perhaps the club won’t want me to continue in the future. But I do not concern myself with these rumours."

Spain international Zubimendi had previously expressed a desire to stay in San Sebastian and represent La Real in the Champions League. They reached the round of 16 in the competition this season, losing to Paris Saint-Germain.

Spurs star Son issues derby warning

Tottenham captain Son Heung-min admits his side is less experienced than Arsenal but is still looking forward to testing himself on Sunday. The South Korea international scored both Spurs goals in the draw at the Emirates Stadium in the autumn but has netted just once since the March international break.

“It will be a good test for our team," the former Bayer Leverkusen star said. "We're very young and we're still a little bit inexperienced because we're building a young team with a young team with new experiences.

“Some of them are in their first season in the Premier League. So look, we can test ourselves against one of the biggest teams in Europe and the Premier League. But also in the world.

‌“It's very important the way we play. Stick to our play, stick to our game. It's a very, very good test. It's against one of the best teams in the world so it's perfect [for us]. You want to always have good competition and you always want to face the best teams in the world.”

Aubameyang could be on the move again

Former Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has moved around a lot since leaving North London midway through the 2021-22 season. The Gabon international has spent two separate stints at Barcelona, with a few months at Chelsea in between, and is now at Marseille.

Aubameyang's spell at Stade Velodrome might also be a brief one, though. The 34-year-old is under contract until 2026, but changes are afoot in Provence.

According to L'Equipe, the likes of Jonathan Clauss and Ismaila Sarr could be moved on in the summer, with Aubameyang due to make a decision on his own future after getting a feel for the club's sporting project. He has scored 26 goals in all competitions this season for the Europa League semi-finalists, but their poor league form means victory in that competition may offer their best hope of European football next term.
