The 15th-ranked tennis player will go down in tennis history as a victor after defeating Danilovic in the first round of the Madrid Open. The 30-year-old is only the fifth player to achieve this incredible accomplishment in the last 40 years, winning 14 straight WTA matches in the 30+ age group. Tennis icons Chris Evert, Martina Navratilova, Serena Williams, and Li Na are some names who have scripted the same record in the past.

Williams is the only tennis player in the storied history of the game to have had as much success in her 30s. She has accomplished so much, in fact, that no other female player after the age of thirty has been able to win more than three Grand Slam singles titles.
