Joe Wicks has vowed to ‘reconnect’ with his family and ‘do better’ in a public self promise of self improvement.
The 38-year-old fitness coach - who is also known by the name The Body Coach - is a married father-of-three, having tied-the-knot with glamour model Rosie Jones in 2019 and together they share Daughters Indigo, five, and Leni, one, and three-year-old son, Marley. The family is due to expand further this year as Joe revealed back in January that Rosie is pregnant with their fourth child.
But Joe has hinted he may be guilty of taking his family for granted as he vowed to ‘reconnect’ with them and do more to make himself feel better. Taking to Instagram on Saturday, the sporty influencer shared videos and posts as he connected with his followers and fans - and provided an insight into his personal life.
In a written statement, he declared: “Today I will do better! Today I will respect my body. I know what makes me feel good so I’m going to do more of that. I know what makes me feel crap so I’m going to do less of that.
“I’m going to drink more water. I’m going to get some fresh air. I’m going to turn my phone off for a few hours. I’m going to reconnect with my family” - adding a red heart emoji and praying hands emoji for good measure.
The fitness fanatic then added: “It’s the simple things we have to focus on.” His post came moments after he had shared a video via his Stories function where he urged fans and followers not to beat themselves up if they had failed to exercise so far over the weekend.
He declared: “If you haven’t exercised yet, there’s time. Use the weekend to look after yourself, yeah? Find a bit of time to go outside, do a little workout. You don’t need an app. You don’t need anything. You can just go for a walk. You can go for a jog. Get on a bike. Go for a scooter ride with the kids.”
He continued: “Just all movement’s good for you isn’t it? Have a lovely weekend. Hope you find that energy to get moving and pick up your vibe and your energy a little bit. Good luck.”
He then went on to push the fact that his own app is available at a discounted price currently. He wrote: “My app is on sale at the moment.. If you have a question about it, now is the time to ask.” He then fielded a variety of questions about his fitness app - while again highlighting its availability to buy and download.
Back in January, Joe revealed he is to become a father again in 2024 as he shared a snap of himself posing alongside an obviously pregnant Rosie. He wrote at the time: "Baby number 4 incoming #20weeks." With the post shared at the end of January, this should mean their new bundle of joy will arrive before the end of June.
