EastEnders will see a number of surprise faces return next week - as one resident gets sad funeral news.
There will be a few familiar faces making their appearance on the Square next week amid some huge storylines for the likes of the Mitchells - who are still reeling from Jay and Nadine's 'baby news' - whilst Sonia gets the shock of her life when Bianca arrives in Walford to seek out Whitney and Zack, whose relationship has been strained since Britney's arrival.
There will also be a surprise return for one of the Mitchell family members, as Billy is left reeling by the arrival. The person quickly embeds themselves in the Mitchell family, even working to help expose Nadine's true motive.
Shock arrival
Billy Mitchell is left shocked next week when his dad Stevie arrives in Walford. Billy finally gets a chance to present Honey with her new engagement ring, but the moment is ruined when his dad Stevie shows up at the Queen Vic.
Billy and Phil can't believe Stevie is there and they make it clear he is not wanted or welcome in Walford. Stevie tries to charm them, but both Phil and Billy aren't having any of it and Billy heads out. Honey consoles Billy and urges him to speak to his dad. They have a frank conversation about his childhood but Billy is left reeling when Jamie is brought up.
Billy orders his dad out of his life whilst Honey urges Stevie to do more if he wants to have a part in his son's life.
Nadine rumbled
Later in the week, Billy is left angered when Stevie makes an unannounced appearance at the house. Lexi and Honey are desperate for Billy to give Stevie a chance, but he says he doesn't want to know anything from his dad.
Lexi later gets Stevie to help her prove the truth to Jay. She asks him to help her convince Jay that Nadine isn't pregnant and the pair head to 29B, where Stevie urges Nadine to get a DNA test. He quickly grows suspicious of her behaviour.
Return confirmed
Sonia is left shocked next week when she bumps into none other than Bianca in the Square. She learns Zack has been AWOL and heads to Whitney in a bid to get answers about what's been going on.
When Zack arrives home, he tries to evade Bianca's questioning about where he's been, before it all gets too much and he decides to leave. Whitney, meanwhile, is busy trying to sort things out with Britney and her Usher Syndrome diagnosis.
Reiss puts his foot in it and accidentally reveals that Whitney isn't Britney's mother. Social services arrive and take Britney away for her safety until they can ask Keeley if what Whitney has been saying is true.
Elsewhere, Bianca decides to help Bernie and encourages her to head back to work after all that's happened with Keanu.
Sad funeral news
There is also sad news for the Knight family this week when Anna decides she needs to speak to her grandfather Eddie. She contacts him behind the back of her family, and finds out some sad news.
Anna discovers that Gloria's funeral took place yesterday after she sadly died from a heart attack. Anna is worried about telling George what she knows, but will she be able to tell him the sad truth?
