It has a population of 23,000 and Elouise lives on the largest island, called "the mainland" which has just three supermarkets.

She moved to the island from the city nine months ago, and said she loves the quiet, rural lifestyle.

Taking to TikTok, she revealed that her closest, shop, a tiny Co-op is nine miles away, but said that there isn't much choice inside.

She added that buses to this tiny supermarket are hours apart, so it is incredibly tricky for her to get to.

Elouise explained that, if they wants to do a big shop, she has to go to Lerwick, which is the only town in the Shetlands, and has a population of around 7,500.

She said that it takes her an hour on a bus to get there, and she has to bring a large suitcase with her, to stock up.

Elouise said that she uses a click and collect service, so that everything is ready for her to load into the suitcase when she arrives at the larger Co-op store.

She added that she also uses this trip to top up her electricity, which is on a pre-paid metre.

Then, she takes the one hour journey back home, with her heavy suitcase.

Elouise revealed that she has a remote job working for the Co-op, so thankfully doesn't have to commute to work, and gets a decent discount on her groceries.
