RANGERS loan star Fabio Silva's Ibrox future has been decided, according to a report.

The Wolves forward was signed on a temporary move in January by Ibrox boss Philippe Clement as the Belgian's first signing after replacing the sacked Michael Beale in October 2023.

The English Premier League club signed Silva for a whopping £34million in 2020, but things never quite worked out for the 21-year-old since making the switch to Molineux.

Spells at Anderlecht and PSV preceded Silva's signing north of the border as Clement looked to boost his attacking options for the cinch Scottish Premiership title race with rivals Celtic.

But things have not quite worked out for the attacker since arriving in Scotland.

He has scored just 4 times - only twice in the league - in 19 appearances and has racked up ZERO assists.

Still, he could end up with two winners medals as the Govan outfit compete in a fascinating trophy tussle with their rivals from the east end of Glasgow.

Rangers are only three points behind Brendan Rodgers' Hoops in the race for the top flight title with four games to go, which includes an Old Firm showdown at Parkhead on May 11.

They will also face off in a first Glasgow derby Scottish Cup final since 2002 when they meet at Hampden on May 25.

But according to reports in his homeland, Silva will NOT be staying at Ibrox next season in either a permanent or temporary return.

Given his age and hefty transfer fee four years ago, a bid from Rangers would have been unlikely, so too does a loan move back.

One man who insists he is in it for the long haul is Gers skipper James Tavernier.

The Englishman has been linked with a move to join former Rangers boss Steven Gerrard in Saudi Arabia.

But Tavernier wants to mark a special anniversary at the club.
