Jude Bellingham's apparent trash talking on Harry Kane failed to work as the Bayern Munich striker scored in the 2-2 draw against Real Madrid.
The Three Lions captain had the chance from the penalty spot to put the German giants ahead in the Champions League semi-final first leg.
And the 30-year-old made no mistake from 12 yards out as he sent Andriy Lunin the wrong way to slot home into the bottom left corner.
Prior to his effort, Bellingham, who will be hoping to shine at Euro 2024 alongside England teammate Kane this summer, looked to put him off.
As Kane was preparing to place the ball on the spot, Bellingham walked up to him where he appeared to say something in his ear.
However, Kane didn't even react, as he expertly tucked home his 43rd goal of the season in all competitions.

His goal capped off an incredible comeback at the start of the second half following Vinicius Jr's opener for Real at the Allianz Arena.
Leroy Sane equalised in the 53rd minute with his first goal in six months, before Kane turned the game around moments later.
In doing so, Kane has become the Englishman with the highest amount of Champions League goal involvements in a single season [eight goals, three assists].
He was level with Manchester United icon David Beckham and Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard on ten.
Real then equalised with a penalty of their own after Rodrygo was brought down, with Vinicius Jr shooting down the middle to grab his second of the night.
But it was Bellingham's attempted mind games from the four-goal thriller that sent social media into meltdown.
One X user said: "Should be instant yellow for any of that nonsense."
Another quipped: "That worked out great then…"
A third added: "Didn't even notice Bellingham was playing."
This supporter then quipped: "Kane doesn't understand Brummie clearly."
