Prince Harry did the Royal Family a "favour" when he announced the change to his primary residence a royal expert claims.
The Duke of Sussex announced he was becoming a US citizen last month after relocating to the States in 2020 when he stepped down from his royal duties with his wife, Meghan Markle, the Mirror reports.
This move is said to have seen the Firm label Harry as "America's problem" now, according to royal expert Tom Quinn, who claims that the prince changing his residency location was his "final goodbye".
Speaking to the Mirror, Mr Quinn said: "Prince William and King Charles see the Royal Family as far too important to be jeopardised by a prince who doesn’t want to be a prince.
"And besides, the royals can do without Harry. It’s even been whispered at Kensington Palace and Clarence House that Harry has done the royal family a favour.
"A difficult, temperamental, unstable prince is now America’s problem."
Quinn continued to say that Harry may never receive a call to help his family, despite leaving the door open in previous interviews.
He claims: "Harry is scheduled to speak at St Paul’s Cathedral in London on May 8 to mark the tenth anniversary of the Invictus Games.

The 39-year-old prince's decision to become a US resident was first noted in a Companies House document for Harry's business, Travalyst Ltd, in which he listed America as his primary residence.
This was filed on June 29 2023, which was the same day the duke was forced to hand back his keys to Frogmore Cottage at the request of his father, King Charles.
