Earlier this month, Supreme unwrapped its Spring 2024 collection with Nike. And while many sneakerheads thought that the long-awaited Supreme x Nike SB Darwin Low would be part of the drop, they were left a wee bit sad when the shoes didn't show up. Now, finally, the hotly-anticipated collab has been officially revealed—and it's landing this week.

To casual onlookers, Supreme's SB Darwin Low might just seem like yet another ultra-hyped skate shoe. But old-school sneakerheads will know it's actually based off of the Air Darwin from 1994—the first-ever Nike shoe to feature a backwards Swoosh—and this retro release is landing just in time to celebrate the OG silhouette's big 30th bday.

Revealed in four color combos, the black, white and camo versions are exactly what you'd expect from the New York City streetwear imprint, but the chartreuse spin is probably going to be the one that sells out the fastest. Inspired by the herbal-y French liqueur, it's painted in super vibrant neon green that's a far cry from the original colourways.

Something else that has changed is the overall shape of the sneakers. While the '90s pairs featured a high-top profile, these ones are all cut down for a more half pipe-ready vibe. The classic leather construction has been replaced with canvas, and the Air midsole has also been switched out for Phylon foam. The SB Darwin Lows are then finished off with co-branding on the tongue, and they all come in special shoeboxes.

The Supreme x Nike SB Darwin Low collection will drop on May 2 via Supreme's website and brick-and-mortar stores. As with anything that comes from the James Jebbia-led brand, expect 'em to sell out fast.
