John Harbaugh has proved that there is nothing as strong as brotherhood. The Ravens head coach recently got candid about his younger brother, Jim Harbaugh making a comeback to the NFL. After the former quarterback turned coach chose to leave Michigan with three years remaining on his five-year contract, every football fan was stunned by his decision.

The 60-year-old may have found a better deal with the Chargers back in January and chose to coach players in the NFL. Now, it looks like his older brother is backing up his decisions.

John Harbaugh shares his thoughts on Jim leading the Chargers

In a recent interview on The Rich Eisen Show, John Harbaugh addressed Jim’s jump to the Chargers. The 61-year-old stated that it was “so cool” that his brother “really loved the organization out there.” However, his future was uncertain as he had been “the same way in Michigan.” But unfortunately, that had not played out how everyone had hoped.

The older Harbaugh sibling continued, “I know one thing, when you’re around him you’re going to have a heck of a good time. And it’s going to be real and genuine.” He also added that with his brother in charge, “there’s not going to be any, any questioning about what we’re here for.”

Furthermore, Eisen asked Harbaugh about Jim’s stance on offensive linemen being considered “weapons.” To which the Ravens coach replied, “I mean, anybody that doesn’t understand that doesn’t really understand the game of football.”

The 61-year-old seems hyped to see what Jim Harbaugh has in store for his first year back. However, his brother has taken dedication to the sport to a whole new level.

Jim Harbaugh’s temporary new digs

Just a couple of months ago, Jim Harbaugh gave up his career at Michigan to coach the Los Angeles Chargers. Even though he had a team in the NFL, they were sadly out of practice space. In fact, the team has been waiting for the completion of their training facility in El Segundo. According to reports, the lack of a training space only fueled the 60-year-old’s dream of living out of an RV.

During his introductory call with the team after Harbaugh joined, he teased the possibility of it happening. However, at the NFL annual meeting this year, the former quarterback ended up revealing that he had made his RV dreams a reality. He even claimed that he was only 100 feet away from the team’s offensive coordinator, Greg Roman.

Harbaugh told interviewers at the meeting, “It’s been awesome. Yeah, it’s been really good. I go back there, it’s a good time to think. It’s just been great.” While he seems to be enjoying his time on the road, the team’s practice facility is supposed to be up and running later this year.

With the ex-Michigan coach already going above and beyond to coach the team, the Chargers might wind up with a few new strategies to show off once this season begins.
