Borussia Dortmund are celebrating reaching their third Champions League final against the odds. Dortmund will now look to emulate their 1997 vintage who famously beat Juventus in Munich after sealing a return to European club football’s biggest game for the first time since 2013, when a side managed by Jurgen Klopp lost to domestic rivals Bayern Munich at Wembley. Bayern could be the opponents again now back at Wembley on June 1, with their semi-final tie against Real Madrid locked at 2-2 ahead of Wednesday night’s second-leg clash at the Santiago Bernabeu.
