Stevie's plan 'revealed'

EastEnders has seemingly confirmed Stevie's true intentions as he made an unexpected return to Walford. Stevie Mitchell shocked Billy Mitchell when he arrived back in the Square, but fans have been puzzled by what his real motive is. He has said he wants to come back and get to know his family but viewers are sure something else is on his mind.

Next week on the BBC soap, it looks like Stevie's motives have been exposed. Whilst Billy is adamant he doesn't want anything to do with his dad, Honey is desperate to try persuade him to give his dad another chance. When Stevie bumps into Lexi, Will and Janet in the café, he's adamant he wants to get to know them better, and Billy is less than impressed when he finds out.

He storms over to the Queen Vic and tells Stevie not to go near then, but Honey is insistent that the kids should be able to know their grandfather, leaving Billy less than impressed by her determination.

Billy is left even more fuming when he sees Will chatting with his grandad at the café. Things almost turn violent, with Billy worried that he is turning into his dad. Phil suggest to Billy that he should keep Stevie close and find out what he really wants.

Later, they meet for a drink where Billy demands Stevie to tell him what he's there for. When Stevie tells Billy he's just a lonely man looking to reunite with his family, it's clear Billy is still frosty. When Honey, Will and Janet return home, they are shocked to see Billy has invited Stevie over - but is Stevie hiding something, or is he just as he said?

Elsewhere, Stevie has grown suspicious of Nadine. We know she is actually faking her pregnancy, but it has yet to be revealed to the families including Jay Brown. Jay seems adamant he will do the best for the child, but what will happen when he finds out the truth - that there is no baby and Nadine has a whole other reason for getting back in touch?

Deadly diagnosis

EastEnders airs the moment one character is told he could die next week on the BBC soap. A worrying health diagnosis leaves one resident fearful for his life, and he's warned that if he doesn't change his ways he could be killed very soon. George Knight suffers a dizzy spell after his recent fights, and he almost collapses.

He's urged to go to the hospital by Phil Mitchell and ex Cindy Beale, and while there he undergoes tests. It's then that the doctors give George a CAT scan and discover he’s got a brain condition linked to repeated blows to the head.

The fights and his injuries have left him in grave danger, and any more fighting could cost him his life. The doctor tells George that one bad knock could kill him, so he needs to stop what he's doing.

But will George listen, or is a death sealed for the character? Back in Walford, George's partner Elaine Peacock and his daughters Anna and Gina are furious to discover he’s been fighting, and Cindy knew all about it.

But when George is spotted with fight organiser Rufus, Cindy wastes no time in lashing out as she warns him. It's clear he's considering another fight despite being told he faces death if he does so.

Cindy promises daughters Anna and Gina that she will convince George not to fight again, leading to a tense conversation with him. George initially rejects Cindy’s suggestion of online therapy to help him cope with his overwhelming emotions, but she talks him around.

Cindy is keen for him to find other ways of dealing with his recent heartache, following his adoptive father Eddie Knight being charged with the murder of his biological dad. He also found out his real mother had died months ago, while his adoptive mother Gloria sadly passed away in recent weeks.

It seems Cindy hasn't gotten through to George though, as we see him making a call to Rufus to book another fight. She soon issues him an ultimatum, but will it be enough to stop him going through with it?

EastEnders spoilers confirm a new direction for Yolande Trueman's heartbreaking storyline with Pastor Clayton. Viewers know that Yolande was shockingly sexually assaulted by the Pastor in recent scenes on the BBC soap, leaving her devastated. We soon learned that Yolande was not the only woman he had assaulted, with other women seen speaking out in flashbacks over the past 10 years or so, including one woman who revealed he had raped her.

In the fallout, Yolande has struggled to cope and after confiding in pal Elaine Peacock, she has not yet told her husband Patrick Trueman. But next week he finds out the truth and takes action, just as Yolande comes to a brave decision.

Patrick knows something is wrong with his wife, with her acting out of character and sparking serious concern. He's keen to get to the bottom of it but Yolande won't talk to him.

She instead asks Elaine to tell her husband what happened, unable to find the words. Next week, viewers will see Yolande left furious when Pastor Clayton implies she is unwell, knowing full well what he's done to her.

Patrick confides in him unaware of the assault he inflicted on Yolande, and when Patrick relays his concerns to his wife she's disgusted. The next day, Elaine tells Patrick what really happened at Yolande's request, and he's shellshocked.

As he attempts to process what he has been told Patrick attempts to talk to Yolande, but she locks herself in the bathroom. His anger soon kicks in and he heads out to confront Pastor Clayton.

Yolande feels forced to stop him and races after him, and the pair sit down and talk about her ordeal. After speaking with Patrick, Yolande decides she's going to report Pastor Clayton to the church officials.

The next day, Yolande tells Levi about Pastor Clayton sexually assaulting her, and he commends her bravery and promises to start investigating her complaint right away. But when Patrick finds out the meeting isn't planned until the following week, he fumes at the slow process and confronts him.

Patrick warns he’ll take the matter into his own hands if nothing is done, and soon enough he's confronting Pastor Clayton. Yolande arrives and begs him to stop, but will she be able to stop him, and can she and Patrick expose his vile actions together?
