MONTPELIER, Vt. (WCAX) - The Vermont House of Representatives has given the greenlight to a bill seeking to hold fossil fuel companies accountable for their role in climate change.
The bill passed the House 94-34 Monday afternoon.
Skeptics call the proposal hypocritical and say we have all benefited from oil and gas production, including helping to create green technology.
