Would you want the 49ers to play on a holiday again?

They did last year. Twice. Tell us about that experience.

Last season, the San Francisco 49ers played the maximum number of primetime games. That’ll likely be the case as long as the organization continues to make deep annual playoff runs.

However, there was a curveball. The Niners played on Thanksgiving and Christmas. On Turkey Day, Kyle Shanahan and company squared off against their rivals, the Seattle Seahawks. The build-up to the Week 16 matchup was fun as we had the best teams in both conferences square off.

As we prepare for the NFL’s schedule release, we asked on Monday what your favorite time slot for a game weekend was. Today, we ask whether you’d want to see the 49ers play on a holiday again. We might be able to find out whether they play sooner than anticipated:

There’s the argument that you will be sitting down and watching football, so why not be the team you love? Maybe the holidays are a time to escape (not from your family) and enjoy not staring at a screen.

There’s also the chance you’re stuck with the in-laws, and they have no idea that sports ball is being played. So, instead of the NFL, you’re stuck watching whatever rerun TNT is airing.

The Niners organization did one of the most extraordinary things last Christmas, which should become a yearly tradition. They allowed the local media to bring their children into the press box for postgame interviews.

The Christmas spirit wasn’t quite the same after the quarterback picked an awful time to have the worst game of his season. Nonetheless, it was a fantastic experience for all.

What do you think about the 49ers playing on a holiday again? Tell us about your experience during Thanksgiving and Christmas during last year’s games and how that’s shaping your answer.
