Gogglebox star Stephen Lustig-Webb has reportedly signed up for Celebs Go Dating, just a month after announcing his shock split from husband Daniel.

The couple got engaged in 2016 and tied the knot in 2018 at the Chateau de Lisse in Lot-et-Garonne, France. However, they announced their decision to part ways and filed for divorce at the end of April 2024.

Stephen broke the news to The Sun on Sunday, explaining that he and Daniel had 'grown apart' leading to their decision to 'part ways'. But it seems Stephen is ready to jump back into the dating pool as The Sun reports he's joined the E4 dating show with Anna Williamson and Paul Brunson.

An insider told The Sun: "Stephen is set to sign up for Celebs Go Dating after successful advanced talks with E4 producers. Bosses were really keen to get him as soon as they heard he and Stephen had split as they know viewers will invest in his path to finding love again, and he's already a big favourite with Channel 4 viewers after years on Gogglebox."

"He is realistic that he may not find Mr Right but he is up for a laugh on the dating scene," they added. The Mirror has reached out to representatives for Stephen and Celebs Go Dating for comment.

Anna and Paul are the resident 'experts' on the show, helping celebrities find love. They've previously worked with stars like TOWIE's Charlotte Crosby, Joey Essex, Ferne McCann and Made in Chelsea's Sam Thompson.

In the previous series, former Love Island contestants Adam Collard and Chloe Burrows teamed up with Made In Chelsea's Mark-Francis Vandelli, model Lottie Moss, comedian Spuddz and Loose Women's Vanessa Feltz in their pursuit of finding a soul-mate.

Although there haven't been any official romantic unions from the show, 2022 saw Gary Lucy and Laura Anderson fall for each other, subsequently welcoming baby girl Bonnie the following year.

Stephen's Gogglebox journey began over a decade ago and he quickly became a household name, thanks to his stint on the original 2013 Gogglebox series with ex-lover Chris Ashby-Steed, whose tussles led him to quit the show. Stephen then continued with filming, initially alongside his mother Pat, thereafter with Daniel Lustig until the duo wrapped up last year. Despite being exes, Stephen and Daniel have remained cordial, running a successful hair salon in West Sussex.

Studio Lambert and Channel 4 confirmed the television personalities departure from Gogglebox. According to a statement issued by them: "After a brilliant and illustrious time on Gogglebox, Stephen and Daniel have decided that now is the right time to explore life beyond the sofa and leave the show."
