Kate, the Princess of Wales, reportedly follows a strict sleep routine similar to that of her late grandmother-in-law, Queen Elizabeth II.

The princess is said to retire to bed at 10:30pm every night to ensure she's well-rested for her Royal duties the following day. The future Queen Consort also enjoys an early dinner around 6pm to ensure she's comfortable before heading off to sleep.

This routine mirrors that of the late Queen, who was known to go to bed at the same time each night, signing off duty at 11pm.

A sleep expert previously claimed that the Queen managed to get an impressive 8.5 hours of sleep per night, which falls within the healthy sleep range for adults in the UK. That's quite remarkable considering her busy schedule throughout her reign.

The Queen also enjoyed reading before falling asleep, a great way to wind down after a hectic day. She would rise at 7:30am, ensuring she got a respectable eight and a half hours of sleep each night, reports the Express.

Exercise is known to aid a good sleep routine, and like the late monarch, Kate is renowned for her love of outdoor exercise. Known as one of the sportiest members of the Royal Family, the Princess of Wales's healthy lifestyle includes activities such as running and dog-walking.

The Queen, a known fan of equestrian activities, used them as an exercise routine, while also enjoying hiking around Balmoral's lush green landscape when staying there. She was frequently pictured over her reign walking her beloved corgis around her vast estates.

In the same vein, Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, is another Royal who leads an active lifestyle. She has often talked about how she incorporates exercise amidst her busy schedule on her former lifestyle blog The Tig. Meghan penned, "The morning, as we all know, is that vital time that sets the tone for our day ahead."

She reportedly starts her day with yoga, a regimen known for its health benefits. As she remarked to Best Health, "There are so many benefits that come with the practice of yoga... increased flexibility and strength, greater happiness, increased mental focus, a greater ability to relax, decreased anxiety and better sleep."

Given her mother Doria Ragland's profession as a yoga instructor, the discipline has been integral to Meghan's life for many years. Meghan admitted, "Yoga is my thing. My mom is a yoga instructor, and I started doing mommy-and-me yoga with her when I was seven."

"I was very resistant as a kid, but she said, 'Flower, you will find your practice just give it time.'" Meghan noted that she started practising it more frequently right from college.

Meghan, who is known for her healthy lifestyle, has previously shared that she opts for a green juice over caffeine when she needs an energy kick. However, the self-proclaimed foodie also believes in balance and has confessed that her guilty pleasures include wine and French fries.
