Jane, 61, anchored her very own three-hour programme called 'Picky Tea'.

It featured a range of music and chat as Jane was joined by guests including The Chase's Jenny Ryan.

Beeb listeners were hooked on Jane's dulcet tones on the radio that they've now demanded bosses give the Channel 5 star her very own show.

Taking to social media, one fan said: "Please please Radio 2 give Jane Mcdonald a regular show! Absolute belting tunes and banter."

A second wrote: "Im listening right now and I haven't stopped singing or dancing for 24 mins into a show."

"Listening now Jane, love your choice of music. Great to hear our Sue on! Think you two should have your own show," said a third.

While a fourth commented: "This girl needs her own show my favourite tea and presenter."

Meanwhile, West End star Beverley Knight, 51, recently bagged her own Radio 2 show.

Beverley was filling in for Elaine Page on Sunday afternoons from 1pm on the station.

Former Top Gear host Paddy McGuinness was also handed his own slot after impressing bosses.

Paddy, 51, was standing in for Rylan Clark and became an instant hit with listeners.
