Emmerdale star Jessie Elland has moved on from Chloe Harris as her next big move since waving goodbye to the Dales has been revealed. The actress left the ITV soap at the end of last year with her last scenes aired on Boxing Day.

Viewers saw Chloe flee the village with her son Reuben following the death of her dad, Damon 'Harry' Harris. After getting in touch with her dad, Harry decided to exact his revenge on her ex Mackenzie Boyd which Chloe played along with while secretly trying to free her former partner. a

However, her attempts failed and intimidated by her dad, she demanded Mack sign over his parental rights to their son. But it wasn't long until Harry was waving a gun in Mack's direction, planning to finish the job. Chloe had initially stood in harm's way but Charity Dingle soon arrived and swooped in.

After Charity shot Harry dead in their dramatic scuffle, Chloe left the village with her and Mack's son leaving him heartbroken while Charity struggled with the fact she had taken someone's life.

But away from Emmerdale, and now months on from her on-screen exit, Jessie has revealed her next big move. It's been announced that she'll make her musical debut in 101 Dalmations alongside Waterloo Road star Kym Marsh and Steps singer Faye Tozer, who will share the role of Cruella De Vill in the touring production.

Jessie will be playing Danielle in the theatre adaptation which is set to open in Wimbledon next month. While she didn't reveal the news directly, she showed her excitement after her talent agency, Revolution Talent, said on Instagram: "Jessie Elland will make her Musical Theatre debut playing Danielle in the UK tour of ‘101 Dalmatians’. Opening at @newwimbtheatre June 22nd! #101Dalmatians #UKTour #JessieElland @101dalmatiansuk," to which Jessie replied: "Eeek!" with a red heart and paw prints emojis.

It comes after the former soap star revealed she had put pen to paper while filming for Emmerdale and had written her first book. In February, Jessie unveiled The Ladies Upstairs, which is soon set to be published. Posting a screenshot of a press release announcing the exciting news which described the haunted house book as a "captivating dark debut".

Jessie then shared in the caption of her post: "I wrote a book and it’s going to be published!!! Ironically I can’t find the words to better articulate this news. My very first novel will be published by @baskervillejmp, in the UK & Commonwealth. This would absolutely not be possible without my amazing agent @ktgreenstreet and the entire team at @paperliterary."
