Emmerdale fans have said they "love it" after bosses at the ITV soap shared an update on Thursday.
The long-running serial drama has had an army of loyal fans for the 50-plus years it has been on our screens. In that time, viewers have been gripped by plenty of dramatic storylines, including murders, affairs, and even a plane crash.
And people can even visit Emmerdale if they want to, with "village" tours giving behind-the-scenes access to the set.

While the fictional Dales village is often the location of some grim plots and deadly character exits, it can also look very pretty.
In a new update on Instagram on Thursday, show bosses shared some glorious snaps of "Emmerdale" in the sunshine. The post was simply captioned: "Our village looking lovely in the sun!"
Fans have been quick to react to the photos in the comments section, as Regan said: "I actually wanna live there" and Joanne said: "Just been, love it". Linda said: "I’m back again in June LOVED IT last year xx" and Rebecca said: "We came last weekend was the best day ever and was lovely and sunny .... xx"
