Ramario Simpson plays the lead role of DC Davis Lindo in Granite Harbour.
This isn't his first acting role as he also starred in Django, Riches, Noughts + Crosses amongst other shows.

Hannah Donaldson as DS Lara

Hannah Donaldson takes on the role of DC Davis Lindo's colleague, DS Lara.
Her other acting credits include known for Rebus, Day of the Flowers and Payback.

Dawn Steele is a familiar face on our screens and plays Cora MacMillan in Granite Harbour.
She is a Scottish actress best known for her portrayals of the characters Alexandra “Lexie” MacDonald from the BBC drama Monarch of the Glen, Alice Trevanion in the ITV drama series Wild at Heart and Dr. Annie Jandhu/Murdoch in BBC Soap Opera River City.

What is Granite Harbour about?
The first series of Granite Harbour follows the story of Lance Corporal Davis Lindo
After completing his tour with the Royal Military Police he finds himself training as a Detective Constable in Aberdeen in the northeast of Scotland.
The team investigate this new drug sweeping the city while trying to figure out what happened on board the Stolthet ship.

Lindo strikes up an unlikely friendship with his mentor, DCI Lara 'Bart' Bartlett, played by Hannah Donaldson.
The duo soon find themselves in the middle of a power struggle when a wealthy and notable Aberdonian dies under suspicious circumstances.
Teasing what happens in series two, Simpson said: "The story follows a young refugee woman who ends up intertwined into a huge drug operation after her husband disappears from the ship they snuck on to.
"The team investigate this new drug sweeping the city while trying to figure out what happened on board the Stolthet ship."

Granite Harbour season two started on Friday May 3, 2024 at 8pm on BBC One.
