Manchester United are being linked with several potential new signings ahead of the summer transfer window.

United are currently battling to secure European football by climbing the Premier League table. The Reds also have the FA Cup final against Manchester City later this month in the club's only chance to win a major trophy this season.

Despite the season yet to reach its conclusion, United are being linked with new players that could arrive ahead of next season. Erik ten Hag's future as manager may also be in doubt, but it's not stopping the United transfer rumour mill from continuing to generate speculation.

According to The Sun, United are showing an interest in Atletico Madrid defender Reinildo Mandava. The report claims that the Reds face a battle with Aston Villa to sign the left-back.

It has been reported that United may look to capitalise on Reinildo only has one year remaining on his contract with Atletico. The article speculates that Reinildo could be available for just £8 million this summer.

United are likely to be in the market for a left-back this summer, with Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia dealing with injury issues throughout the campaign. Reinildo has made just 15 appearances for Atletico this season, and spent the first half of the season recovering from an ACL injury he sustained back in February last year.

Elsewhere, an update has emerged on United's reported pursuit of RB Leipzig midfielder Dani Olmo.

According to Spanish news outlet Sport, United are one of several clubs showing an interest in Olmo this summer. It has been claimed that the Reds are keeping tabs on Olmo with a view to making a move when the transfer window opens this summer.

Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea have also been credited with an interest in Olmo, as United prepare for a four-club transfer battle. No price tag has been mentioned in the report for how much Leipzig would demand to part ways with Olmo, who is contracted at the Bundesliga club until 2027 after signing a new deal last summer.
