Marco Reus is weighing up two enormous opportunities ahead of his Borussia Dortmund departure.

Reus will leave Dortmund at the end of the season when his contract expires, having joined the club from Borussia Monchengladbach back in 2012.

He has netted 169 goals and registered 130 assists in his 426 appearances with the Signal Iduna Park side.

The 34-year-old, who also spent nine years at the club at youth level before signing for Monchengladbach, will become a free agent in July.

"I have spent more than half of my life at this club and enjoyed every day," said Reus. "I will find it difficult to say goodbye at the end of the season."

Reus has won the DFB-Pokal trophy twice during his time Dortmund, while his last game for the club will be the Champions League final against Real Madrid at Wembley.

It has been widely reported that Reus has had preliminary conversations with St.Louis City.

Indeed, the former Germany international remains close friends with St. Louis goalkeeper Roman Burki, who spent seven years at Dortmund before joining the MLS outfit two years ago.

However, Sky Germany reporter Patrick Berger has alleged that beyond St Louis, both Inter Miami and Al Nassr are interested in the Dortmund star.

That means that Reus could be weighing up the opportunity of playing alongside Lionel Messi in Miami, or Cristiano Ronaldo in the Saudi Pro League. There is also said to be interest in Turkey.

Berger added that no decision has been made by Reus, who wants his focus to be on the Champions League final.

Upon announcing his imminent Dortmund departure Reus said: “I’m happy that there is now clarity and that we can focus fully on the very important final games that we still have to play.

"We have a big objective in our sights that we all want to achieve together.

"To do so, we will need every single one of our unbelievable fans, to whom I would like to express my sincere thanks for their unbelievable support over the years."
