Head coach Nuno Espirito Santo has named his Nottingham Forest team to face Chelsea in today’s potentially-decisive Premier League clash.

The Reds go into their final home game of the campaign with their top-flight status still in the balance. However, they took a big step towards securing safety with last weekend’s 3-1 win over Sheffield United at Bramall Lane.

Now the challenge is to get over the line. Relegation rivals Luton Town and Burnley are both involved in 3pm kick-offs, but Forest know their fate is in their own hands.

Striker Taiwo Awoniyi made his comeback from injury as a substitute last time out, and he is on the bench again at the City Ground. Nuno makes one change to his starting XI as Moussa Niakhate comes in for Anthony Elanga.

It means the Reds revert to a three-man defence against the Blues. Niakhate will join Willy Boly and Murillo in front of goalkeeper Matz Sels.

Gonzalo Montiel and Ola Aina keep their spots and will take up the wing-back roles. Ryan Yates and Danilo will make up the midfield.

Morgan Gibbs-White, Chris Wood and Callum Hudson-Odoi will make up the attack. Matt Turner, Ibrahim Sangare, Cheikhou Kouyate, Awoniyi, Harry Toffolo, Nicolas Dominguez, Elanga, Divock Origi and Andrew Omobamidele will make up the substitutes’ bench.

Forest: Sels; Boly, Murillo, Niakhate; Montiel, Yates, Danilo, Aina; Gibbs-White, Wood, Hudson-Odoi. Subs: Turner, Sangare, Kouyate, Awoniyi, Toffolo, Dominguez, Elanga, Origi, Omobamidele.
