Stacey Solomon is set to attend a glitzy awards bash this weekend - but she says the thought is 'filling her with dread'. The Loose Women star will be one of the many famous faces attending the BAFTA TV Awards on Sunday (May 12).

The annual event will once again take place at the Royal Festival Hall in London with comedians Romesh Ranganathan and Rob Beckett returning to host the ceremony. The latest celebration of the small screen sees The Crown, Black Mirror and Happy Valley leading the nominations with the most nods.

And Stacey will be among the presenters on the night as she's been asked to present an award with the likes of Clive Myrie, Danny Dyer, Richard Gadd, Rob Rinder, Rylan Clark, Katherine Ryan and Sir Trevor McDonald also set to give out gongs on the night.

But as the Sort Your Life Out host revealed what she'd be up to over the weekend, she admitted her nerves. In a video posted to her Instagram Story Stacey said: "I might not be on here very much on Sunday either because I've got to present an award at the BAFTAs which fills me with absolute dread - I even tried to get out of it!

"My agent was like, 'Absolutely not, it's an honour and a privilege! Don't be ridiculous!' And I was like, 'I know it's an honour and a privilege and I'm really grateful but reading autocue live on telly makes me c**p my pants'. I don't mind doing Loose Women Live where I can be myself and say whatever I want to say but autocue does throw me off.

"Anyway, I had a word with myself and said no, this is great opportunity, go for it! You'll be so proud when you've done it. So I'm going to do that Sunday. Wish me luck!!

Alongside the post, she also wrote: "RAMBLE OVER [crying laughing emoji]. Cr**ping my pants [crying laughing emoji]. But feeling honoured and privileged."

Stacey opened up to her fans about her nerves

Meanwhile, after missing months worth of shows, Stacey is unlikely to reprise her role as a full-time panelist on Loose Women, according to her co-star. The 34-year-old was last seen on the daytime ITV show in November but prior to that, she hadn't appeared as a panelist since 2022, before her maternity leave as she gave birth to her fifth child, her third with husband Joe Swash.

While fans regularly question if she'll make a reappearance on the lunchtime programme, during a chat with The Sun, her Loose Women co-star Linda Robson revealed that with five children and a thriving career on the small screen at the helm of her Renovation Rescue, Stacey is "too busy."

Linda, 66, told the publication: "She's not going to be a regular anymore? I don't think so, but you never know." She added: "I would love her to come back, she's a really good Loose Woman - she's really honest. But I think she's got too much on. She's got her own series and her and Joe are out in their little house. She's still really welcome but she's just so busy."
