Acacia Ridge stabbing: Man is killed in a suburban park in Brisbane

A manhunt is under way after a 22-year-old man was stabbed to death in a suburban park near a sporting ground in the middle of the night.
Emergency services where called to a park on Mortimer Road at Acacia Ridge in southern Brisbane around 12.10am where they found a man with a stab wound to the chest.
He died at the scene.

Queensland Police say initial investigations indicate the man was known to the offender, who fled the scene.
Detectives are appealing for anyone with further information or relevant vision of the area around that time to contact police.
