Following his split from the New England Patriots, ex-NFL head coach Bill Belichick is finding that his days are busy, even if not on the coaching field. After running the show at Foxborough for over two decades and winning six Super Bowls, it was widely anticipated that Belichick would immediately land a new coaching job.

Yet, every team with an opening overlooked the 72 year old. While he must wait until 2025 for a potential fresh attempt in NFL head coaching, Belichick has now begun to captivate audiences via the media. His contribution to "The Pat McAfee Show" with NFL Draft coverage brought riveting content.

Moreover, viewers found a fun side of Belichick during Netflix's roast of Tom Brady where he cracked jokes about his former quarterback.

Belichick has also scored a deal with McAfee to appear as a regular on his ESPN show during the NFL season, joining NFL greats Aaron Rodgers and J.J. Watt. In other news, Peyton Manning has confirmed that the former Patriots coach will be a recurring guest on the "Manningcast."

ESPN's alternative coverage of "Monday Night Football" features a 'watch-a-long' format with the former Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos QB, alongside his brother, New York Giants legend Eli. The siblings are joined by famous faces from football and pop culture world for short periods throughout the game, offering a very different perspective than the traditional coverage provided from the booth by Joe Buck and Troy Aikman.

Manning is thrilled to have Belichick on board. He revealed on Friday's "Pat McAfee Show": "It was an easy pitch to Bill because I said, 'Bill, I want you to come on, we'd love to go behind the ropes on the defensive side to learn what the Eagles are going to have to do to stop Patrick Mahomes. And if you ever run out of things to say, just make fun of Eli.'

"That's sort of a time filler, and Bill doesn't like Eli, we all know that from the two Super Bowls, so it's a match made in heaven."

He added: "But the idea is that Bill is going to be a permanent guest on every Manningcast show early in the game, probably in the first quarter to take people behind the ropes about what a defense has to do, or what the quarterback's challenges are.

"Bill's going to do that and I think the audience is going to be fascinated by how smart he is and how witty he is.

"The draft show was awesome; he's quick-witted, he's funny and he's just brilliant when it comes to defense."
