The Miami set has been reduced from £149 to £119 both online and in stores - but a shopper has revealed how she got even more cash off.

Posting on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group, she wrote: "Six piece Garden set was £149, down to £119 and there’s a £20 money off voucher on the rewards app!

"Paid £99 instead of £149."

Fellow bargain hunters were flocking to the comments to share the handy tip.

According to shoppers, the voucher can only be spent in-store, not online.

Shopping discounts - How to make savings and find the best bargains

All you need to do is head over to the Asda Rewards app, go to your wallet and then coupons.

The deal requires a £100 spend on outdoor furniture - and you only have around 20 days left to use the voucher.

The Asda Miami table is made from galvanised steel which means less rusting in the rain - a valuable feature amid recent changeable weather.

Plus, comfortable folding chairs ensure practical storage - and they're pre-assembled for easy set-up.

Top Tips To Nab The Best Shopping Bargains

Finding deals and offers can be tricky if you don't know where to look.

Here's a list of hacks you can use to become a bargain-hunting pro and save on your shopping bill:

Join Facebook groups - Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, Latest Deals and Reduce Your Supermarket Spend are all Facebook groups helping you reduce your spending and find good deals

Get following - Follow your favourite shops on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram and sign up to its newsletters to get the latest on any offers

Check hotukdeals - The deal-sharing website lists offers as they're spotted by savvy shoppers

Use barcode scanners - Retailers such as B&M let shoppers scan the barcodes on its app to see if it's cheaper than the price listed on the shelf

A large parasol, with a crank handle, in matching dark grey is also included to keep you cool.

Meanwhile, toughened glass covering the table adds extra peace of mind the item will be long-lasting.

Asda describes it as: "The perfect set for everything from evening meals to morning coffee.

"The chic blend of charcoal and black tones will really stand out in any garden while the exterior-grade textoline fabric offers extra comfort."

Reviews for the set online are glowing.

One reads: "Superb purchase does exactly what it says on the tin..."

A second said: "Very easy to ensemble great use all summer."

A third wrote: "Great garden set really comfy chairs nice size table and great parasol."

Covers for the garden chairs are sold separately but this means shoppers have the option to choose from a range of colours.

If grey doesn't take your fancy, green and brown are also available.

Of course, do bear in mind that the item is likely reduced by this much because it's the end of the line and branches are clearing stock.

It's always worth giving your local site a call to check if they still have it in stock to avoid disappointment.

How to compare prices to get the best deal

JUST because something is on offer, or is part of a sale, it doesn't mean it's always a good deal.

There are plenty of comparison websites out there that'll check prices for you - so don't be left paying more than you have to.

Most of them work by comparing the prices across hundreds of retailers.

Here are some that we recommend:

  • Google Shopping is a tool that lets users search for and compare prices for products across the web. Simply type in keywords, or a product number, to bring up search results.
  • Price Spy logs the history of how much something costs from over 3,000 different retailers, including Argos, Amazon, eBay and the supermarkets. Once you select an individual product you can quickly compare which stores have the best price and which have it in stock.
  • Idealo is another website that lets you compare prices between retailers. All shoppers need to do is search for the item they need and the website will rank them from the cheapest to the most expensive one.
  • CamelCamelCamel only works on goods being sold on Amazon. To use it, type in the URL of the product you want to check the price of.

Shoppers in the comments stated that they'd found similar sets in various other retailers.

Of course bear in mind these will be different makes and models, things like sizes and colourways will vary.

One said: "They're £99 in Aldi as well!"

Another commented: "They have these in Morrisons too, was £99 now £76.

"It's a lovely little set and simple to put together, the box is deceivingly heavy though."

If you are unsure where your nearest Asda is you can put your postcode into the store locator tool on the retailer's website.

How does Asda's loyalty scheme work?

To join Asda’s loyalty scheme, you'll need to download the Asda Rewards app which you can find on the Apple App Store and Google Play store.

You'll need to have an account - if you don't, it's pretty easy to sign up.

You’ll need to provide your name as well as some other details.

Then, you can earn cash rewards known as Asda Pounds when shopping in-store and online.

You'll just need to scan the barcode on the app at the checkout.

If you're shopping online, just make sure you're logged into your account, and then browse as normal.

Usually, you can buy certain "star products" which are a mix of branded and Asda own-brand items.

You can see a full list in the dedicated section of the Asda Rewards app, but they're also marked when you're shopping online at Asda.com.

Be mindful of how much you're spending - not every deal will be worth the money you spend to get it and remember to look around other shops to see what deals they have to compare.

Rewards you earn can be accessed in your "cash pot" within the app.
