Leandro Trossard has hit back at Roy Keane's claims that Arsenal got 'lucky' in their win at Manchester United.

Trossard scored the Gunners' winner 21 minutes into the clash at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon. United actually had more possession and more shots than Mikel Arteta's title challengers.

But Trossard's goal proved to be enough for the visitors to claim all three points and retake top spot in the Premier League. While Arsenal were able to keep United at arms-length, Keane insisted the Gunners were lucky to be coming up against a poor Red Devils team.

"I think Arsenal will be thinking how lucky they were to play such a poor Manchester United team today. The end product, the lack of quality, the decision making, people making mistakes and not putting demands on each other," he told Sky Sports.

"No one digging each other out for mistakes. That United team out there today, particularly in the last half an hour, were so bad. Job done, three points. Clean sheet. I think the disappointment for me, especially the last half an hour, was United.

"Against that team today, I bet you Arsenal could not believe how bad United were. For the possession they had, the lack of quality. We are talking about the great teams over the years and the great players they have had, but that last half an hour.

"Decision making. Nobody is digging anybody out. People making mistakes all over and players just walking away. Not putting demands on each other. That United team there, so bad."

Leandro Trossard insisted the Gunners were worthy of their win though

Trossard though insisted it was not luck that led to Arsenal claiming their win. Instead, he hailed his team-mates for their defensive abilities after they secured the three points.

"Maybe it wasn't the prettiest game but credit to the guys, we defended so well. We kept another clean sheet and one goal is enough to win the game. We were struggling a little bit so it was so nice to get the win," he told BBC Sport.

"When you're only 1-0 up it is always a bit tricky. We were trying to score a second but they are dangerous on the counter attack. It is a great run for us and now we take it to the final game. You never know what is going to happen."

He added to Sky Sports: "Man United are still a good team and they can hurt you in different ways so credit to the boys - we defended really well. Obviously we only have one objective to win the league.

"We have done our job today and it will be up to the last game and that is what we are aiming for. Hopefully next week we can celebrate something, you never know it could be. We can only hope. We have done our job and that is the only thing we could have done."
