The second Sunday of May came amid heartfelt celebratory messages for the Michael Jordan family. These included MJ’s ex-wife Juanita Jordan, and two of their children, Marcus Jordan, and Jasmine Jordan. Notably, the occasion was Mother’s Day and all of these members took to their social media handles, sharing their wishes and thoughts. 

However, one of the cutest moments in the Michael Jordan family came for his daughter Jasmine. Her 5-year-old son, Rakeem Christmas, made her a hand-made card on the special day. Jasmine shared the Mother’s Day card, and some clicked moments of her son in an Instagram post. Speaking of the card, it included a personalized thank-you message by Rakeem for his mother.

“Dear Mommy, Thank you for tucking me in, picking me up and showing me how. Thank you for teaching me to do things on my own, and believing in me when I try. Thank you for hugging me and loving me and doing special things to make me happy… For being a wonderful mommy. Happy Mother’s day with Lots of Love,” read the card.

Jasmine also shared a post in her IG story that extended love to all on Mother’s Day including the people who don’t have mothers and all those who are playing the role of mothers in some aspect of their life. Meanwhile, acting on similar lines, Michael Jordan’s son, Marcus Jordan, not only wished his mother Juanita Jordan but also his sister Jasmine through IG stories on the special day. 

Michael Jordan’s ex-wife shares a special message for women across the globe

Juanita Jordan shared a heartfelt tribute message to all the women through an IG post captioned, “Hope you all are enjoying and doing whatever makes YOU happy today. Happy Mother’s Day.” The emphasis of the post was on the idea of ‘Women Who Change the World’ as it acknowledged women who make things better just by showing up, further, including the women who make things happen and who make their way. 

“… There are women who make a difference. And women who make us smile. There are women of wit and wisdom who – through strength and courage – make it through. There are women who change the world every day… women like you,” further read the post. It is worth mentioning that Michael Jordan always held high regard, love, and respect for his mother. And now from his ex-wife’s post, it seems similar values have been inculcated by the former couple in their children as well.
