Ryan Garcia’s antics online seem to have spilled over into his personal life, as his mother, Lisa Garcia, broke down in tears during an Instagram live session. The whole thing began after the fight between Vasyl Lomachenko and George Kambosos Jr. concluded on Sunday. To create some drama, as Ryan Garcia normally does, ‘King Ry’ took aim at Kambosos.

Turning to X, the Victorville native mocked the Australian boxer for his loss to claiming his innocence from PED allegations. However, he crossed the line when he dragged Kambosos’ wife into the mix. That too on Mother’s day! Garcia wrote in a now deleted tweet, “I slept with his fiancée ( George’s girl ) I can beat his a**. And he can’t do anything about it. I’d be pissed. He still hasn’t came out to play.”

This, of course, prompted an equally scathing response from the boxer down under. ‘Ferocious’ wrote in response. “I slept with your mother if [you] want to get that low you dog, shows the classless person you are talking about my wife the mother of my kids. Your dead when I see you. NO BOXING.” However, soon afterwards, renowned and respected boxing promoter Lou DiBella seems to have gotten involved in the situation.

Responding to Garcia’s tweet, DiBella wrote, “Nice Mother’s Day tweet, Ryan, and how Christian on a Sunday. What the f**k’s wrong with you, son? This isn’t the Ryan I knew and was a fan of. He was a decent kid, not a lying, antagonizing, cheating, derelict piece of influencer s**t. Please get help. You are unwell.”

This tweet might not have affected Ryan Garcia much, but the same cannot be said about his mother. Responding to DiBella’s tweet about her son, a weeping and visibly distraught Lisa Garcia said, “What Lou DiBella wrote really hit my heart. And Lou, you’re absolutely right, this isn’t Ryan. But I will tell you boxing can be a really cruel place sometimes and unforgiving. When my son first started boxing, like Lou said, this isn’t the kid he met. This isn’t [the] kid he knew. I know my son and one thing he’s not Lou, that you mentioned, he is not a cheater.” Since the clip, Garcia has responded to Kambosos Jr, trying to end the squabble right then and there.

After discovering his tweets have been blown out of proportion, Ryan Garcia quickly tweeted, “Bro, I was Jking my bad B Hahahahaahah People are hilarious.” However, the Australian wasn’t ready to accept the apology as he quickly responded on X. Kambosos Jr wrote, “You say [you are] a man of god but you act like the devil!!”

“Your parade the lord but we all see through your s**t, [you are] the devil in disguise. On a Sunday too. Joke? F**k you like I said I ever see you, it’s on, IDGF, backtracking as a joke now naaa. Me and you. Happy Mother’s Day,” Kambosos continued. Garcia later responded to a comment from a user, writing, “Like bruh what I’m a comedian they shouldn’t be a limit on comedy.”

After antagonizing everyone on social media for months, Garcia’s attack on George Kambosos Jr. seems to have backfired on him. Meanwhile, whether this feud boils over into a fight, in the ring or outside, is yet to be seen. What are your thoughts on the matter? Do you think Ryan Garcia went too far?
