Lisa Armstrong will be "heartbroken" about Ant McPartlin's touching tribute to his new family, it's been claimed.

Ant, 48, announced yesterday that wife Anne-Marie Corbett, 46, had given birth to their first child together - a baby boy they've named Wilder Patrick. A heartwarming joint post on the pair's Instagram read: "Welcome to the family. Wilder Patrick Mcpartlin. Born, 14/05/24 at 8.54am. Baby is beautiful, Mummy's a legend, Sisters are over the moon. Dad's a mess."

However sources close to Ant's ex wife Lisa have said she'll be gutted to have seen the post, which was captioned alongside a close up picture of Ant cradling his newborn. And visible to anyone who looked was a huge tree of life tattoo with tributes to his family with Anne-Marie, name-checking her teen daughters and the couple's dogs.

They announced the arrival of their baby boy on Tuesday night with a charming black and white photo and the monikers Daisy, Amzie, Poppy, and Bumble could be seen - in reference to Anne-Marie and his stepdaughters.

A source close to Lisa told the Sun: "Can you imagine having to see that if you're Lisa?

"It must literally have left her heartbroken. She tried so hard for their marriage, she tried so hard to save him and when they split she was left without a baby.

"It is so very sad. It broke poor Lisa, she gave him 23 years of her life, practically all of her adult life.

"Then when Ant is to be a dad he didn't even have the decency to tell her. She had to read about it in the paper."

On Tuesday, Lisa took to her Instagram page to share a post about a "battle" in her Instagram Stories. The quote read: "Be proud of how you have been handling these past few months. The silent battles you've fought, the moments you've had to humble yourself, the times you've wiped your own tears. Celebrate your strength."

However it was recently reported that Lisa was left emotional about the 20th anniversary of Saturday Night Takeaway and wants to clear any bad blood as she believes she played a vital role in the early success of Ant and Dec.

A source told OK! magazine: "Seeing the show come to an end brought back lots of happy memories.

"It also made her realise that she and Ant were really happy and she now doesn’t want her marriage to him tarnished.

"Lisa loved him so much and now she just wants everyone to be happy, Ant included."
