Britney Spears' heartbreaking admission after years-long feud

Britney Spears says she "misses" her estranged family.

The Toxic hitmaker admits wanting a catch up with her "absolutely beautiful" relatives, despite a years-long feud since the end of her 13-year conservatorship in November 2021, sharing a snap with her mum Lynne Spears and her sister Jamie Lynn's kids.

Taking to Instagram, she penned: "We all have issues with our family but dear God you can't help how much you love them. I'm not in this picture but I sure as hell feel like I am." "On a side note … If you know me, I've always ended up at this kids (sic) table at every function I've ever been to !!! Anyways … I'm posting this pic because my family is absolutely beautiful and I miss them … I wanted to share this pic because although I’m not in it … I sure as hell felt as though I was !!!," she wrote in a lengthy post on her page.

It comes after Britney shared another worrying health update. The 42-year-old revealed her health woes to followers. Britney made headlines after an ambulance was called to the swanky LA hotel Chateau Marmont following reports the star was injured in an explosive fight with her on-again, off-again boyfriend, 37-year-old Paul Richard Soliz.

Less than 48 hours after the incident, she shared a video of her severely swollen foot. In the clip, Britney claimed she had only twisted her ankle, slamming paramedics for causing "this huge scene which was so unnecessary", adding: "All I needed was ice."

She seemed to suggest that her injury was much more serious, describing her foot as "broken" and adding there is a "huge chance" it could break again. Britney also said she had decided against surgery and wants to see if her body "knows how to heal itself".

Sharing the concerning news with her 42.2million followers, Britney posted two collections of photos with the same caption. The first featured a video of her travelling on an aircraft in a red dress, with pictures of a colouring book. The second featured two clips of her posing in the mirror and a photo showing several alcoholic drinks.

"Walking on a broken foot … if i go fast it goes numb !!! I got surgery on my left leg three times … twice for my knee and once for my foot," she said, adding several leg and foot emojis. "They always said it can heal on its own but theres a huge chance it can snap and break again. Well I always did the surgeries and it was more painful afterwards so I’m being stubborn this time .. I’m gonna see if my body knows how to heal itself."
