The New York Pro 2024 is just days away, and fans are definitely excited about it. The event is going to be held in Teaneck, NJ, and many elite bodybuilders are set to grace the stage and give it their all. While the open division will be the main attraction of the show, many will also be waiting for the return of former champion Nick Walker, months after an injury forced him to drop out of the 2023 Mr. Olympia.

Bodybuilding Instagram page “bisandtris” recently posted a picture of current New York Pro champion Tonio Burton. asking fans about their predictions. The lineup for the open division is making fans crazy and making it difficult for them to name a common winner. 

Audience favorites, Nick Walker, Tonio Burton, Angel Calderon Frias, Martin Fitzwater, and Quinton Eriya are all set to battle it out in the open division. While these bodybuilders dropped physique updates during the buildup to the event, there was one bodybuilder that caught the public’s eye the most.

The IFBB Pro bodybuilder Nick Walker, aka the Mutant, put out the most intense updates. Walker has already made his intentions known for winning the show and making a much-awaited comeback to the sport. He recently went to the Pittsburgh Pro Show last week and showcased his new and improved physique since his last on-stage appearance.

While many are in favor of Walker lifting the New York Pro title this year, the road to victory might not be a cakewalk for the former champion. However, most bodybuilding enthusiasts took to the comments section of bisandtris’ post to showcase how they thought Walker would take the title home easily.

Fans think Eriya can give tough competition to Walker 

One fan showcased his excitement for the performance of another bodybuilder training under Walker’s mentor and wrote, “I’m curious how @quintbeastwood is going to look next to the other guys!” Another bodybuilding enthusiast showcased his excitement for the Mutant’s performance, and wrote, “Nick bout to shut up alot of people.” A bodybuilding enthusiast simply wrote, “Another easy win for @nick_walker39“

A fan of Eriya has high hopes for him, and thinks he can give a tough fight to Walker for the crown. “Big Q takes the show,” they wrote. An admirer of Walker simply commented, “Just one name.. nick walker.” Another stickler fan of the Mutant predicted his second victory on the New York Pro show and wrote, “Nick 2 times.“
