The annual Royal Chelsea Flower Show is a staple on the royal family's calendar. This year is particularly exciting, as King Charles was just named patron of the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) ahead of his visit. "As an advocate for the planet and champion for environmental issues, we are thrilled and honoured that His Majesty The King is our Royal Patron," Keith Weed, the RHS's president, said in a statement. "We look forward to furthering our work to reach more people of all ages, backgrounds and gardening abilities with the joy of growing plants and gardening to create wonderful gardens, combat the effects of climate change and build a better future for generations to come."

However, the royal attendance will be lower at the famed flower show this year, due to Kate Middleton stepping back from royal duties in light of her cancer diagnosis and Prince William's scaled-back engagements to support her. Today, on the press preview day, King Charles and Queen Camilla were only accompanied by the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester. However, there were a number of celebrities in attendance, including Bridgerton stars Hannah Dodd, Ruth Gemmell, and Adjoa Andoh, The Crown's Josh O'Connor, and British acting legends Joan Collins and Judi Dench.

Here, see all the best photos of the royals and celebrities who attended the 2024 Royal Chelsea Flower Show:

Great British Baking Show judge Prue Leith embraced bold colors at the flower show. "I'm obsessed with the fact that we don't wear enough color," she told T&C. "Especially older women don't wear enough color. I think we should regard specs and necklaces as accessories, just like you would a handbag. In fact, I tend to start my day by thinking what necklace do I feel like wearing? Or, what specs do I feel like wearing? And then I add the rest of the clothes together to go with it."
