The USA vs BAN T20I series will be played in Houston from May 21-25. All three matches will be played in Houston with the two teams playing international cricket against each other for the very first time.

Bangladesh 

Bangladesh will be led in this series, by Najmul Hossain Shanto. It is understood that Bangladesh will carry a 17-member squad for the three T20Is against the USA and Hasan Mahmud will replace Tasim Ahmed in the side if he fails to recover from his side strain in time for the T20 World Cup.

Meanwhile, Shakib Al Hasan and Mahmudullah will be p[playing another T20 World Cup for Bangladesh and a lot rests on how they perform. 

USA

USA will be led by wicketkeeper-batter Monank Patel. The side has plenty of players of Indian origin. Ali Khan and Corey Anderson are the two stand-out names in the team.

Both are very well-known names in T20 cricket who play consistently in domestic T20 leagues across the globe. USA has a chance to topple the visitors and make a statement ahead of the T20 World Cup at home.

So far four T20I matches have been played at the venue with two games won chasing and two batting first. The average score batting first is 170 while the average score batting second is 160. There is a chance of rain in the match. If the rain stays away we can have a decent contest between bat and ball.

Form and Fitness 

Bangladesh players are in better form having recently won a T2I series against Zimbabwe. However, they have a serious injury concern with lead pacer Wasim Ahmed who is suffering from a side strain and is not a part of this series. 

"We are still hopeful that we will have some positive news regarding Taskin. If it was too serious, we would have been informed that there was no chance" read BCB's statement on the pacer's fitness. 

Talking about the USA, there are no injury concerns. They last played a T20I series against Canada in April earlier this year and won it 4-1.
