A new series of Not Going Out is expected to be released later this year, and fans can get tickets to see episodes recorded.

The studio sitcom starring Lee Mack will be back for its 14th series, with it having aired its 100th episode for its 2023 Christmas Special.

It is the UK’s all-time second-longest-running by number of series (and fifth by number of episodes).

Over its 13 series regular cast members have included Sally Bretton, Bobby Ball, Abigail Cruttenden, Hugh Dennis, Megan Dodds, Deborah Grant, Miranda Hart, Tim Vine, Timothy West, Geoffrey Whitehead and Katy Wix

The new series will be recorded on March 7,14, 21 and 28 as well as on April 4 and 11 at Pinewood Studios, TVZone reports.

Free audience tickets are now available from SRO Audiences on the website here.

They add: "We try to be as fair as we can about issuing the tickets. Successful applicants are randomly selected from amongst those who apply. We aim to email tickets to the successful applicants as quickly as possible."

People applying for tickets can put a preference for what date they would like to attend and the number of tickets they would like (from a maximum of four).



Lee Mack discusses new series of Not Going Out

Lee Mack shared he was "very grateful" to the BBC that Not Going Out had been renewed for another series.

He said: “Once again I’m very grateful that the BBC have trusted in us to keep alive the studio sitcom.

"I grew up watching this genre of sitcom on the BBC, and to be part of it myself is still a dream come true, even after 18 years of doing it. Here we go again….!!”
