Several roads in Bolton are set to be closed throughout this month whilst works are ongoing.

Kildare Street - February 11-19

The Farnworth street will be closed to westbound traffic for approximately nine days between its junctions with Albert Road and Langdale Street. 

Eastbound traffic will be permitted past the closure, which is for electricity works. 

A diversion is in place via Albert Road, Balmoral Road and Leinster Street. 

Breeze Hill Road - February 19

Breeze Hill Road in Over Hulton will be closed for Openreach telecom works from 9.30am to 3.30pm "approximately" on the day. 

The street will be closed off between its junctions with Newbrook Road and Hill Crest. 

An alternative route will be available, via Newbrook Road, Rutland Avenue and Lansdowne Road. 

Back Higher Swan Lane - February 19-21

Part of Back Higher Swan Lane in Great Lever will be cordoned off for approximately three days from Paulhan Street to Settle Street. 

It will be closed for United Utilities water works. Alternative routes are available via Glenburn Street or Higher Swan Lane. 

Back St Helens Road South - February 24-26

The Daubhill street will be closed for three days from Chilham Street to Smethurst Lane for United Utilities water works. 

St Helens Road and Georgina Street provide alternative routes.

Victoria Road - February 24-26

Victoria Road in Markland Hill will be closed for three days between Stockmar Grange and Willow View for tree felling. 

An alternative route via Markland Hill, Verdure Avenue and Towncroft Lane will be available. 

Lincoln Road - February 24-28

The Heaton road will be closed to traffic from its junctions with Mornington Road and Queensgate. 

The street will be closed for electricity works. A diversion is in place via Queensgate, Harrow Road and Mornington Road. 

Back Daisy Street - February 27 

The entire length of Back Daisy Street in Daubhill will be closed, from its junctions with Farnworth Street to Brandwood Street. 

The order will be in place from 8.30am to 3.30pm "approximately" on the day. 

Other roads running parallel including Brandwood Street and Daisy Street can be used instead.
