The legendary singer songwriter will also be performing in Manchester, Lytham, Cardiff and London as part of his LOVE, LIGHT & SONG tour

Stevie Wonder has announced a series of UK tour dates - and it includes a night in Birmingham.

The legendary singer songwriter will also be performing in Manchester, Lytham, Cardiff and London as part of his LOVE, LIGHT & SONG tour.

And he'll even be taking a headline slot at London’s iconic American Express Presents BST Hyde Park Festival.

He was the youngest recording artist to get a number one single with Fingertips Part 2 at the age of just 12. Since then, he's had 32 number one singles, 49 singles in the top 40 and has won 25 Grammy Awards.

He was also the first artist to simultaneously reach number one on Billboard's Hot 100, R&B Singles and Album Charts.

His iconic album Songs In The Key of Life is archived in the National Recording Registry of the Library of Congress, for its cultural, historic and aesthetic significance.

How to get tickets to see Stevie Wonder

Tickets for Stevie Wonder’s UK performance dates go on sale Friday March 21 at 10am via the Live Nation website.

Access to Preferred Tickets for select performance dates are also available to Mastercard cardholders in the UK on Friday March 21 at 10am.

Stevie has received numerous accolades including awards from the President's Committee on Employment of People with Disabilities, Mothers Against Drunk Driving, the Children's Diabetes Foundation and the American Association of People with Disabilities.

In 1983, he spearheaded Martin Luther King Day as a national holiday, took part in the We Are The World fundraiser for hunger in Africa in 1985 and got involved in putting an end to apartheid in South Africa.

Stevie is the recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom, Wolf Prize Laureate, and is a designated U.N. Messenger of Peace with special focus on persons with disabilities.
