Meghan Markle hits back at claims she isn't 'down to Earth' after Netflix show launch
Meghan Markle's new Netflix show, With Love, has been derided by critics and audiences alike
Meghan Markle, the TV star turned Duchess after marrying Prince Harry, lives a life few can dream of attaining, but she's hit back at claims she's 'out of touch with the real world'.
The Sussex's, who live in Montecito, California, often welcome the Hollywood elite into their $14.65 million (£11.28 million) mansion, as evidenced by the cameo appearances in Meghan's Netflix series, such as The Office star Mindy Kaling.
However, the 43-year-old insists that she and Harry, 40, are trying to be like other families with young children who go to school.

In an interview with People, Meghan explained: "Once you know us, I think you want us to have the same normalcy as parents and for our children as they do, despite however unique our situation is.
"I have a couple of girlfriends up here - these are stay-at-home moms and working women with normal jobs, not in the public eye.
"We went from just connecting through our kids to having girls' nights out or doing Pilates together."
Meghan also revealed that she goes to yoga and fitness classes with 40 to 50 people.
She continued: "I go to group classes that sometimes have 40 to 50 people in them and just walk in like, 'Hi!'.
"Of course, at the beginning, that felt like a lot. By the way, I think anybody walking into a yoga class with 50 people when you're one of the last people that walk in and everyone looks up, it's going to feel a little uncomfortable.
"The other day in class, I was there by myself - sometimes I go with girlfriends, but I went by myself - and in the middle of the class they said, 'Great, tell the person on your mat next to you that they're doing a great job, give them a fist bump.
"And I looked over and there was someone over there, and I was like [miming a fist bump], 'Well done!' and then I looked to the other side and there was someone else and I went, 'Nicely done! Come on, guys!'.
"I mean, that's part of how you connect. I love it. It's the best. I had missed it. It's awesome."
It comes after the release of Meghan's new Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, a lifestyle series that sees the Duchess "share personal tips and tricks, embracing playfulness over perfection, highlighting how to create beauty in unexpected ways," according to the synopsis.
Critics were not kind to the programme, with Marina Hyde from The Guardian writing: "The mildest way to describe this show is as a ghastly artefact of a particular cultural era that recently met its apocalypse."
