Fearne Cotton has revealed her new romance just 11 weeks after her shock split from husband Jesse Wood.

It comes when the presenter, 43, admitted to feeling like she "missed out" on fun recently as she was seen sharing a kiss with Disney Plus's Rivals director Elliot Hegarty after a night out in Soho, London.

Meanwhile, Jesse, 48, has also found new love, as he is understood to be dating Gemma Gregory, who found fame at the age of just 13 when she appeared in a BBC television adaptation of Charles Dickens' Great Expectations.

Fearne and Jesse were married for a decade, and they share two children together; their son Rex, 11, and daughter Honey, nine.

Jesse also has two children, Arthur, 22, and Lola, 19, with his ex-wife, Tilly.

Back in December, she borke the news of their split on Instagram, writing: “It is with a heavy heart that I let you all know that Jesse and I are ending our marriage. Our priority has been and always will be our children. We please ask that you respect the privacy of our family at this time.”

It appears as though Jesse isn't the only one to find new romance, though, as she was seen kissing Elliot, a dad-of-three.

While speaking on her Happy Place podcast, Fearne said her focus was on the future and having "more fun".

She explained: “I’ve dedicated the past 12 years to being a mum and building Happy Place. I still want to do all of that, but I’ve been missing out on just having fun.

“Now I’m in my 40s, I want more fun; to see mates, have lunches at my house and cook for everyone, go on little nights out and dinners and not care so much about getting back late."

A source close to Fearne told The Sun that she had been dating the journeyman director for some time, saying: "Fearne and Elliot have known each other for a while. When their marriages ended, their friendship developed into romance.

"They have been seeing each other since January. Her split with Jesse was incredibly difficult but Elliot seems to make her incredibly happy.

"Fearne is now introducing Elliot to friends and they’re pleased to see her smiling again.”
