EastEnders star Patsy Kensit has shared a heartfelt post about feeling "isolated", just weeks after revealing her PTSD diagnosis.

The 56 year old actress, known for her role as Emma Harding in the popular BBC soap, confessed to having the "saddest week ever".

She's previously spoken about her struggles with mental health during periods of unemployment.

On Instagram, Patsy wrote: "It's the end to the most saddest week ever.

"Tomorrow is a new day breath work meditation and exercise.

"God bless anyone who can relate to any of this... love and light."

Last year, the EastEnders actress ended her relationship with property mogul Patric Cassidy, 57, following a series of heated arguments.

Not long after, she took to the internet in search of new romance, activating her profile on the celebrity dating app Raya.

The actress first opened up about her feelings of loneliness last month as she shared her PTSD diagnosis.

Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a mental health condition that can develop after experiencing or witnessing a traumatic event, leading to symptoms like intrusive memories, avoidance behaviors, and changes in mood and thinking.

Patsy shared: "Today I feel mislead and hurt. I was diagnosed with PTSD at the end of last year and really turned a major corner and was feeling great.

"I don't feel great today. I feel grateful but sad. Anyone who has dealt with mental health issues and depression will understand and know that you are not alone....

"When I'm working I feel none of the above.. I've just finished filming.
