Minnesota Governor Tim Walz was roasted online Wednesday after he claimed that MAGA Republicans are ‘scared’ of his masculinity.

The failed vice presidential candidate has reemerged into the public conversation by launching a nationwide speaking tour, and appearing on Gov. Gavin Newsom’s new podcast to talk about the future of the Democratic Party.

Walz and Newsom had a discussion about Trump’s appeal to male voters and the struggles Democrats had with how they were portrayed in the media.

‘I think I scare them a little bit, why they spend so much time on me,’ Walz said, as Newsom burst out laughing.

‘No, I’m serious, because they know I can fix a truck, they know I’m not bulls******g on this,’ Walz said.

Walz admitted that the Trump campaign convinced voters that Democrats were weak.

‘I saw it from me, and not that I spend too much time thinking about this and it just baffled me how much time they spent trying to attack me that I was not masculine enough in their vision,’ Walz said.

He recalled the attacks on his masculinity from Republicans during the 2024 election as they mocked the way he waved, used a straw, and made public demonstrations of his hunting and mechanic abilities.

‘They focused on it obsessively, which I think again is their obsession, their weirdness, we buy their frame on these issues of sexuality,’ he said, recalling that people online attacked him for appearing ‘gay’ and ‘not masculine.’

‘I think I could kick most of their a***s’ he added.

Walz’s comments instantly drew mockery online, as people flooded to social media to mock the failed vice presidential candidate.

‘Only thing that scares me about Tim Walz is how he loads a shotgun,’ Shawn Farash responded on X, referring to Walz’s struggles with his gun while hunting during the presidential campaign.

‘I’m probably the last person you should ask for answers because I didn’t get it done, but I do believe that we are making inroads,’ he said.
