Professor Nitrate lights up Cam with fire gravity and silly science joy

Cam Woodfield Junior celebrates British Science Week with flaming fun and hands on discovery that makes STEM sparkle

In a bid to ignite young minds, Cam Woodfield Junior School recently hosted a 'Silly Science' workshop led by the enigmatic Professor Nitrate. The event featured a series of captivating experiments that delved into elements, gravity, lift, and fire, leaving students both entertained and educated.

The 'Silly Science' workshop was part of the school's celebration of British Science Week, a ten-day nationwide event running from March 7 to 16, aimed at inspiring people of all ages to engage with science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. This year's theme, 'Change and Adapt', provided a backdrop for activities designed to foster curiosity and resilience in the face of scientific challenges.

During the workshop, Professor Nitrate conducted experiments that not only demonstrated scientific principles but also encouraged students to think critically and ask questions. The hands-on nature of the activities allowed pupils to experience the wonders of science firsthand.
