Find out what the Apple customer does now to earn six figures.

AN Apple customer who was paid $800 for his spot in line for the first-ever iPhone is now worth at least $785,000 after going viral in the early 2000s.

The year was 2007. A young Marc Rebillet was first in line for the release of the first iPhone at an AT&T store in Dallas. But he gave up his spot for a steep cash reward.

A woman was dead set on buying up as many iPhones as possible with her $100,000 in cash and wanted to be first in the door at the Dallas AT&T store, according to an old segment from local Fox affiliate KDFW.

She offered Rebillet $800 for his spot that he held for 12 hours after getting to the store at 6 a.m.

He took the deal—and still ended up getting an iPhone.

"Money talks," the woman said after she moved to the front of the line 15 minutes before the iPhone launch.

But she ended up getting the short end of the stick.

When she walked inside the store, an employee informed her that the limit was one iPhone per customer.

Her plan to sell her trove of iPhones on eBay was out the window.

MORE APPLE NEWS

The iPhone has evolved since its first model and Apple is currently up to the iPhone 16 model.

But just because something is new, doesn't mean it is without issues.

A bug in the latest iOS 18.4 update is causing long-deleted apps to reappear on iPhone owners' screens.

Apple users have reported on Reddit and the iPhone company's community support forum that third-party apps and games have been popping up on their devices without actively downloading them.

These app pop-ups started immediately after installing the iOS 18.4 update released on Monday, per the reports.

It seems that these apps, for the most part, had already been deleted by users months or even years before.

One iPhone owner called the app pop-ups "extremely weird."
